Weekend Baltimore-Washington Rail Getaways

Starting a series of Weekend Rail Getaway suggestions for those of you sitting on the sidelines. I always hear "I've always wanted to take a nice train trip!" My response has always been, "Well, why haven't you?" followed by silence, then a change of subject. Well, I now hope to help those who might be inclined to actually take a trip. Being in the Baltimore-Washington suburbs I'll initially base my trips out of this area. If there is interest, I'll expand the geographical base of these trip suggestions.
